“Mika! Where have you been?”

I know. I know!

It would be an understatement to say that my blog has been somewhat silent lately. Truth be told, I haven’t posted anything for the last two months.

But there is a purpose to the madness. It’s not because I haven’t had a myriad of ideas for new blog articles. They keep coming, and I keep storing them away on my “Future Blog Post Board.” So stay tuned!

I have been silent because I have been working full-force, non-stop on planning for the future.

After having served faithfully at The Bridge Bible fellowship in California for the last four years, the Lord is leading our family back to my homeland in Denmark and Scandinavia to serve as missionaries and church planters.

Why Denmark and Scandinavia?

A person recently asked me, “Why would anyone want to go to Denmark?” It’s a good question.

Unknown to most people, the Scandinavian nations are considered the most secular, non-religious on earth.

In fact, current statistics reveal that there might be less than 2% born-again believers in Scandinavia, considering Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland host more than 20 million people. The gospel need is enormous in these forgotten first-world countries, but the gospel workers are very few.

A Burden For Scandinavia

As a Danish national, the Lord has given my family and me a tremendous burden for my homeland and fellow countrymen. For years, Christians have prayed and longed for more gospel labors in Scandinavia to reach the lost with the gospel.

We believe the Lord is strategically calling us back to fulfill the Great Commission by preaching the biblical gospel to see lost sinners saved by the grace of God, discipling believers to live mature and obedient lives for God’s glory, and planting healthy churches across Scandinavia that will faithfully teach and proclaim the word of God and promote intimate Christian fellowship.

Sending Church & Missionary Organization

Our elders are fully supporting us in this calling, and The Bridge Bible Fellowship will be our home/sending church. Our church will partner with Biblical Ministries Worldwide, which will oversee and keep us accountable on the mission field.
